BEIJING-- Chinese top political advisor Wang Yang met here Friday with Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni and Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk.


Wang, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, conveyed the greetings of Chinese President Xi Jinping and the president's wife to the two distinguished guests, and expressed appreciation for the Cambodian royal family's contributions to China-Cambodia ties.

   

Wang said China will further cement high-level contacts with the Cambodian side, jointly promote the Belt and Road cooperation and deepen practical cooperation in all fields.  

   

The Cambodian King and Queen Mother congratulated on the 70th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China, and thanked China for its support for Cambodian economic and social development. They expressed willingness to step up cooperation for greater development of bilateral ties.
