Mr. Sok Voeun remarked: “Education is the pillar of development and the foundation for a bright future. LOLC believes that all the children here are bamboo shoots that will grow into strong pillars, contributing to the development of our country in the future. Supporting students at every level of their education deserves our utmost attention.”
He added that this program is part of LOLC’s ongoing social initiatives, which include providing educational materials to schools, especially those in rural areas, transportation for underprivileged students, and other essential school supplies to promote students' well-being and advance education continuously.

As an example of this commitment, LOLC’s program today provided students with essential notebooks and bags. These simple materials play a critical role in helping students access additional learning resources, motivating them to study harder and achieve their aspirations.

During the event, the principal of Lom Primary School expressed: “Ratanakiri province is remote, and many primary schools are located in remote areas. Consequently, students often lack essential learning materials. As a school principal, I am very pleased that LOLC recognized this need and initiated this program to support Lom Primary School and other remote schools in the province.

“This program genuinely reflects LOLC’s commitment to societal engagement, particularly in promoting education by supplying crucial learning materials to students for their daily studies. On behalf of our school, teachers, parents, students, and the community, I would like to thank LOLC Microfinance Institution, the CEO, senior management, and all LOLC staff for organizing this impactful program.”

The event concluded successfully, with smiles of happiness on the faces of students, teachers, LOLC staff, and the community as a whole.
