Bac II Pass Rate Reaches 72.89 pct

PHNOM PENH – A total 98,460 candidates passed their Bac II exam, accounting for 72.89 percent of those who sat it, the Ministry of Education says.



This year saw a slight rise in the pass rate compared to 2022 when it was 72.33 percent. It also represented the highest percentage since 2014 when reforms took place.



There were 1,673 students with A grades, 6964 with B grades, 18,308 with C, 34,246 with D and 37,269 with E.



The results for candidates in Phnom Penh and Kandal province will be announced today while those in other provinces will know their result on Nov. 24.



A total of 137,412 candidates sat the Nov. 6 exam in 227 examination centers but 2,328 did not show up, accounting for 1.69 percent of those eligible.
